Capture An Eagle by Joyce Henderson

Reviews for Capture an Eagle

"I finished reading your new book - "Capture an Eagle." While I'm not into the romance scene, I did enjoy your talent as a writer, and it was an interesting story. Great Job! As a young boy I was raised on a large cattle ranch in the Oklahoma Panhandle. My father was the foreman. Your description of the life on the ranch was very nostalgic for me. I spent many days rounding up the yearlings and driving them to a holding corral. We then used a squeezing chute to hold the calfs while we branded, dehorned, and castrated them. Pretty heady stuff for a 11 - 12 year old. I even had my own horse and saddle! I enjoyed reliving the ranching experience.
Thank you."

Reviews for Walks in Shadow

"There are several tangled threads woven into this realistic western: Holden’s need to avenge his friend’s death, his search for the child he left in the Timberlakes’ care and his growing love for Samantha. All merge with the powerful story of a strong-willed woman trying to maintain her independence and find love."
